Loss
Prevention Discount Program
PMSLIC offers a Loss Prevention Discount (LPD)
Program, which allows physicians who complete designated
PMSLIC Risk Management CME activities to earn a premium
discount. Physicians who complete five new CME credits
from PMSLIC’s Risk Management menu by a designated
deadline qualify for a discount on their next year’s
PMSLIC premium.
Many of our policyholders have regularly participated in
this yearly program and are familiar with the cycle. We
periodically send information to policyholders
explaining how they may take advantage of the LPD offer.
We will continue to do this. We will also continue to
add new activities to our Risk Management CME list so
that our policyholders can choose from a variety of
learning materials.
PMSLIC’s LPD Program recognizes the National Committee
for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Patient-Centered Medical
Home™ designation. The objectives of the NCQA
Patient-Centered Medical Home™ are closely aligned with
PMSLIC’s commitment to help our policyholders provide
quality care to their patients while reducing their
liability risks.
